Russian President Vladimir Putin is taking part and addressing the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2026 (SPIEF 2026) alongside Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan, and Chinese Vice President Han Zheng.
Putin is expected to deliver the keynote address of the forum, followed by remarks from the foreign leaders and a discussion on global economic trends and international cooperation.
Held annually since 1997, the SPIEF is one of the world’s leading platforms for discussing global economic development, investment, and business cooperation.
The 29th edition of the forum takes place in St. Petersburg June 3-6.
